WHAT: Barbie: The Exhibition takes guests from 1959 to present-day; examining how pop culture and fashion trends have shaped this global phenomenon.

The exhibition celebrates Barbie as a reflection of culture, with exclusive interviews and an up-close look at vintage dolls, career representation, and fashion trends from each era. The exhibition features a multi-million dollar collection of hundreds of artifacts from the 60-year history of Barbie including the Original 1959 Barbie as well as an original Barbie Dreamhouse. There are also numerous photo ops throughout the exhibition.

A role model, a muse, a best friend – Barbie means something to everyone. Just as fans have been influenced by Barbie, she’s been influenced by them – their loves, their trends, their cultural touchstones. Today, Barbie is the most diverse doll line in the world, inspiring children to imagine everything they can become.

It retails at JPY19,000, so it's not cheap, but she's so pretty, I'm not sure I'd be able to resist her, especially now that I am rekindling this beautiful hobby!

She is set to release this coming December, so if you want to give yourself a gift, this may just be the perfect one for you! 

PRE-ORDER: Nendoroid Doll Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado!

 The Kimetsu No Yaiba Nendoroid Dolls are finally here after they were announced during the Wonder Festival (Winter) in 2020.

Nendoroid Dolls feature the same Nendoroid heads, but an alternate doll-like body that is highly articulated and can easily be dressed-up into different outfits while still remaining a palm-sized action figure!

Here comes the first two Nendoroid Dolls from the anime hit series, Kimetsu No Yaiba (Demon Slayer)

Holler! Here's the Momoko Doll Twenty Colors for their 20th Anniversary!

I'm back. I'm not sure for how long, but damn, I missed blogging. It's been ages since I was here, and a lot has happened. Life, love, this freaking pandemic - but anyway, as my' comeback post,' I want to post something about this beautiful Momoko doll that will be released this month.

If you are new to Momoko Doll, it is a 1/6 scale ( around 27 cm, 10.6 inches) Japanese fashion doll created in 2001 as a side project by a Japanese software company called PetWORKs. The creator was Namie Manabe (真鍋 奈見江), who is also the art director of the brand.

This year, it is celebrating its 20th Anniversary, and I'm glad that I was able to pre-ordered the beautiful and very colorful Twenty Colors  Momoko!

She is set to come out this month, and I'm just so excited! I pre-ordered her from amiami.com, one of my trusted online site when it comes to anime, dolls, and all toy goodies from Japan. I will be writing about her once I receive her!
